Welcome to the home page for the Margaret River Coastal Residents Association (MRCRA). Our purpose is to be actively involved in coast care and to be a voice for residents on social, cultural and development issues, while working closely with our local government shires.
Key Achievements
- Rehabilitated the fire damaged dunes at Gnarabup Headland and Longreef Beach.
- Partnership with the council in grant monies used to construct the Gnarabup Beach coastal walk path where we regularly rehabilitate dunes with assistance from volunteers groups such as Greencorps.
- On-going rehabilitation of dunes at Grunters Beach with Curtin University Volunteers.
- Previous maintenance of television reception for Prevelly and Gnarabup residents – now replaced by satellite TV.
- Success in receiving grant monies to assist in further rehabilitation of dunes along Gnarabup coastal walk path
- Numerous submissions on coastal development issues.
